Agreement of Terms


1. Agreement to Terms

​ ​By renting a vehicle from Guzo, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not rent a vehicle from us.

2. Rental Period

​ ​The rental period will commence from the date and time specified in the rental agreement and will end when the vehicle is returned to the agreed location. Late returns may incur additional charges.

3. Rental Charges

​ ​The rental charges are calculated based on the type of vehicle, duration of the rental, and any additional services selected at the time of booking. All rates are subject to applicable taxes and fees.

4. Driver Requirements

​ ​Only authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement may operate the vehicle. Drivers must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. Additional fees may apply for drivers under age 18.

5. Payment

​ ​Payment must be made in full prior to vehicle pickup. Accepted payment methods include mobile money, credit/debit cards and bank transfer. A security deposit may be required for special vehicles.

6. Fuel Policy

​ ​The vehicle is provided with fuel and must be returned in the same condition. Additional charges will apply for refueling.

7. Insurance and Liability

​ ​Insurance options will be offered at the time of rental. The renter is responsible for any damage or loss to the vehicle during the rental period that is not covered by insurance.

8. Vehicle Condition

​ ​The vehicle will be inspected before and after the rental period. The renter is responsible for reporting any pre-existing damage prior to taking possession of the vehicle. Any damage not reported will be charged to the renter.

9. Prohibited Uses

​ ​The following uses of the vehicle are prohibited:

      • Using the vehicle for illegal purposes
      • Driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs
      • Off-road driving
      • Subleasing or lending the vehicle to another party

10. Cancellation Policy

​ ​Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup to avoid a cancellation fee. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in partial or total forfeiture of the rental fee.

11. Termination of Rental

​ ​Guzo reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and retake possession of the vehicle at any time if the terms and conditions are breached.

12. Governing Law

​ ​These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zambia.

13. Changes to Terms

​ ​Guzo reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued rental after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
